Brady’s father, Tom Brady Sr., says “rumor, rumor, rumor,” of the engagement. “We don’t know a thing about it. Nobody told me. We talked to him and there’s nothing to say.” Bundchen’s twin sister, Patricia, also denied the report, saying in an e-mail that the story, which first surfaced on TMZ, is “not true.”
A spokesman for the Patriots commented on the rumors stating, “I heard the report that he [proposed] on a plane, but I don’t think it’s true.” Still, he added, “Tom keeps his private life private.” Bundchen’s rep declined to comment.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have recently taken higher security measures to protect themselves and daughter, Suri, after receiving death threats that are believed to be from groups opposed to their Scientology faith.
Back in August threats were made to place anthrax in Tom’s Los Angeles office. And just last week, protesters from the anti-Scientology group Anonymous targeted the Los Angeles premiere of Cruise’s new film, Valkyrie, where the star was in attendance. While the death threats have not been linked to Anonymous, one source says, “The threats are perceived to be so great that the FBI has been alerted. Tom is terrified. He doesn’t feel safe anywhere.
It is also reported that the family, who are currently living in separate locations due to work demands, has been using bomb-proof vehicles as their form of transportation.

It has been rumored that Vince Vaughn may soon be walking down the aisle with 29-year-old commercial real estate agent, Kyla Weber, from Canada.
The 38-year-old actor has bought a $125,000, 4-carat engagement ring, and plans to pop the question on New Year’s, according to a friend of Vaughns. “Vince is ready to get married and has been for a while,” said the friend. “He wants to start a family.”
The “Wedding Crashers” star has already convinced Kyla to relocating to California. “Kyla can work anywhere, so that’s no problem. She’s more worried about making friends, but Vince has a ton of them. Fortunately, she likes them, so leaving home for Vince has been a good move,” says a source.
The couple who met in May through a movie producer friend of Vince’s were first spotted together in August, holding hands and dining with friends before attending a Dolly Parton concert.

Marquardt says of her former Girls Next Door cast mate, “She’s a lot more timely. She doesn’t flash anymore. She’s a lot more conservative. She’s so in love.”
While both her former costars seem to have found love- Holly Madison is dating Criss Angel- Marquardt remains tight-lipped about discussing her own love life. “I’m just really happy for Holly. She’s happy and in love,” she says. “And Kendra has found love with a great guy. Hank is the perfect gentleman.”

That same day, the plays producers issued the following statement, “We have been advised by Jeremy Piven’s medical representatives that he is seriously ill and is unable to fulfill his contractual obligation to Speed-the-Plow. Consequently, he has left the production 10 weeks early.”
Playwright Mamet had expressed some skepticism about Piven’s condition stating, “I talked to Jeremy on the phone, and he told me that he discovered that he had a very high level of mercury. So my understanding is that he is leaving show business to pursue a career as a thermometer.”
Mamet added that “some really great actors will be helping out and stepping in.”
