CSI Miami Season Finale: Horatio Caine NOT Dead (Video Evidence)
CSI: Miami’s season finale, “Going Ballistic,” has many viewers wondering if Horatio Caine is dead. It would appear so, but this is Hollywood my friends, and things aren’t always as they seem.
In a behind-the-scenes interview actor David Caruso, who plays Horatio Caine on the show, explains what happens in the finale.
“Horatio designed a staging of an event that will free him up to go after this man with a different license,” Caruso explains.
So it seems Ryan Wolfe is in on the “setup” which would explain the text message he received.

Its a set-up. Horatio texts Ryan Wolf the “It’s Done” message(just before he drops like a turd) to get the sting afloat for next season. Nice twitchy finger acting though. Heh.heh.heh.
I just read at the top of this comment screen that David Caruso, explains in an interview what really happened in the finale.
Supposidly, he was the master mind behind the shooting and Ryan Wolfe (the actor that checked his cell phone at the end) was also in on it. Why? Because Horatio wants to go after Ron - his son’s new stepfather that is planning further danger and problems for the son and mother.
Since Horatio wanted the son and mother to meet him at 5 P.M., they may have boarded the plane - …Remember the exchange of threatening words between Horatio and Ron? ….Horatio told him he wouldn’t live to see Father’s Day……….but then…who shot him???? And why did the son handle a loaded gun????
I am thinking and hoping that it is camera magic and it is just a dummy dressed up like him to take the bullet. Horatio Caine makes the show. He has my vote with that beautiful red hair!!! He is so cool with the glasses and all. Please do not end his character!!! He is too important to the show!! I love this show almost as good as America’s Most wanted!! I can not miss John Walsh either!!

I really think it sucks that h got shot .I truly believe he’s not dead and when he comes back and finds out wolfe had something to do with it, I hope he does what he does best. If he dies I will stop seeing CSI forever!!!!! You need to get some better writers!!!!!!!!!!! Its not right that we have to wait until fall to see the continuation. What are we suppose to do watch reruns all summer?????? First Warrick, now H,who’s next?????????

Obviously Caine fakes his death to kill his Son´s stepfahter, in a private manhunt like in Brazil(previous series), Wolf is in it too( hence the Short Message). It´s going to be a long summer without the Three CSI series…

Horatio Caine is the best. That was cruel to end the season that way. But we don’t believe that he is dead. He just can’t be. He is the one that make the show. We love Callie too. She is awesome. And if Ryan had something do with him getting shot we hope the Horatio nails him hard, along with Ron. And gets his son and out of harms way. Hurry up guys get this next season out. We are going nuts not being able to find out what is going on!!!!!!

Its obvious Horatios not dead. The number one evidence is , when he’s shot, where is the blood? In all the other episodes, when someone is shot there’s a giant pool of blood. Plus you can’t see any bullet holes. So he’s is definitly alive.

If he dies….who will look after his sunglasses? The original CSI is a much superior product. Thie Miami version is the most ridiculous show I have ever watched. It is about as real as a plastic walnut. The acting and storylines are over the top. It’s like watching a cartoon….only not as good.

I think CSI Miami is the best show on TV. It has much more reality than the others and every single one of the actors are brilliant!! I hope they make a new series!!

guys..obviously Horation is not dead. do you have any idea how much money CBS would lose if they killed him off?! no one would watch the show anymore!! so the video up there is definatly real and Horatio is absolutly not dead.
as for the confusion with the glasses…he wasnt wearing them when he got shot. he was holding them at his side which explains the bullet hole.
Also, if you check wikipedia, there IS a schedualed season 7, the first episode airing September 22nd, 2008.
