Earthquake Hits Los Angeles
A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck east of Los Angeles Tuesday afternoon. The epicenter of the quake is reported to be near Chino Hills, about 30 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles.
A 5.4 is considered to be moderate and can do slight damage to buildings and structures.The effects of the quake were felt across the Los Angeles area.
Just minutes after the quake, Hollywood resident and actor Ice Mrozek spoke to Hollywoodcrap.com from his cell phone saying he was thrown from his bed.
“It was intense, I’ve felt a few small ones since I’ve lived here but this was about 8 seconds of madness.”
