Bernie Mac Hospitalized But Very Much Alive
Despite all the recent rumors, comedian Bernie Mac is still very much alive. A source close to the family claimed he was in “very, very critical” condition Saturday night after being hospitalized for pneumonia but will be fine.
Mac’s rep stated, “Bernie Mac is still alive and being treated in a Chicago hospital for pneumonia and is expected to make a full recovery. We once again ask that the press respect his privacy and that of his family.”
The pneumonia is not related to his diagnosis of sarcoidosis, which has been in remission since 2005.
