Update: Lil Wayne’s Daughter Killed In Car Accident

Internet rumors started up yesterday that Lil Wayne’s daughter, Reginae Carter, had died. Her Aunt, as well as her attendance at school today, has confirmed these rumors are false.
We apologize to Reginae Carters’ family, and our readers, for contributing to the spread of this horrible rumor. At the time this story was published, we had no reason to believe it was a viscous hoax.
According to reports, Lil Wayne’s daughter, Reginae Carter (pictured above with her mother), allegedly died in a traffic accident in the late evening on August 10th. She was only 8-years-old.
Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, was briefly married to Reginae’s mother, Antonia “Toya” Johnson. He and Toya were high school sweethearts. Johnson was only 14 years old when Reginae was born.
An online celebrity site is responsible for reporting the story as fact, but there is no confirmation from any mainstream media outlets.
