Right after performing her hit song “Womanizer” at Germany’s Bambi Awards, Britney Spears headed to France to make an appearance on the French television series Star Academy, for her first live performances since the disastrous 2007 VMAs.
The 26-year-old singer, who won the award for the best international pop star, sported black patent leather boots, a sheer blouse and a top hat, looking a lot like former B.F.F Madonna.
“Britney looked a little nervous, but she had the audience excited,” said one onlooker. Maybe it was just because this was the first stop on Britney’s comeback tour, as she promotes her new album, Circus.

Former TRL host and late night tv personality, Carson Daly is expecting his first child with NBC producer girlfriend, Siri Pinter.
“They’re both thrilled,” says rep Heather Lylis. “He’s always wanted to be a dad, and he’s excited about the holidays and spending them together with family and friends.”
The couple, who have been dating a little over a year, are both first time parents and expect baby Daly to arrive in early Spring.
Linda Hogan’s 20-year-old boyfriend, Charley Hill, was recently denied a restraining order against Linda’s ex-husband, Hulk Hogan.
The judge dismissed the request by Hill, who alleged that the 55-year-old wrestler “dangerously followed” him in his car a few weeks earlier and “pulled up next to him and stared at him.” Charlie claims he “fears Hogan will attempt to injure or kill him” because he’s dating Hogan’s ex-wife.
Hulk’s attorney, David Houston, released a statement saying, “This is just another blatant attempt by Linda Hogan to try to defame Hulk Hogan’s character. We commend the judge on seeing through this ridiculous stunt and denying these baseless claims.”
When Hogan was asked if the divorce was an attempt to protect assets after their son, Nick Hogan’s car accident, he said absolutely not and that he wished he was back with his wife. He then added, “If this is a ploy, her being intimate with a 19-year-old kid is pretty good acting. For me to be able to handle my 50-year-old wife sleeping in a bed with a 19-year-old boyfriend and using my gym, and driving my cars, and living in my house. I guess we’ve got a pretty good act going on ’cause that’s a lot to take on.”
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, who have been dating for two years, have decided to get married to show daughter, Harlow, how much they love each other. The new parents have chose to hold the ceremony on their baby girl’s first birthday in January.
A friend of the couple says, “They want to set an example for Harlow. Nicole and Joel are doing this to seal their love legally. They want the ceremony to coincide with Harlow’s first birthday and be one big joyous occasion for everybody.”
Seems like Nicole has settled down for good claiming her daughter has had a calming affect on her lifestyle.
In Briney Spears’ upcoming documentary, Britney: On The Record, the singer is caught dissing Katie Holmes fashion sense.
While filming, the singer got caught in a candid shopping moment along side her assistant. Apparently Brit held up a blouse and said, “Look this is very mommy.”
Her assistant replied, “It’s very ugly,” to which Britney responded while wrinkling her nose, “It is very Katie Holmes.”
Could this be the start of the next celebrity feud?
It seems like Paris Hilton has hit a rough patch recently. Her ridiculous reality show ‘Paris Hilton’s My New BFF’ has received very low ratings, she just went through a break-up with Benji Madden and then she was booed of stage before introducing the Pussycat Dolls at designer, Christian Audigier’s, daughters, birthday.
One witness claimed, “When Audigier took the stage and yelled to the crowd, “Do you want to see Paris Hilton? The entire room - which had just cheered when they thought Britney Spears was coming - booed loudly. Paris was practically in tears and left without taking the stage.”
There are also new reports surfacing that Paris and Benji’s recent break-up might not have been as friendly as Ms. Hilton made it out to be. Apparently the heiress was told to stay away from her ex’s, Good Charlotte “The Greatest Remixes,” release party.
Here’s a look at Britney Spears’ cover for the December 11, 2008 issue of Rolling Stone. The cover is much different and very simple compared to previous Britney issues. Instead of short shorts, bra tops or no top at all, the singer sports a pair of jeans and a gray belly baring t-shirt.
Rolling Stone said interviewing Britney was a little hard because of Jamie Spears controlling everything. “We were never left alone together, and my questions had to be submitted ahead of time for approval,” reporter Jenny Eliscu writes.
Even manager, Larry Rudolph says, “Her job is to be Britney Spears, and unfortunately, that job bleeds into her personal life and creates this odd situation where she needs to have security people around her all the time.”
I figured this cover would be something big and eye catching, helping mark her comeback and album release but instead it turned out to be the most low key yet.

When Katie Holmes took daughter Suri out to lunch in New York City, the 2 1/2 year-old tot sported some tiny sunglasses and a dress, because she refuses to wear anything else.
Tom Cruise explained to ET host Mary Hart that his little princess truly is a “girlie-girl” and “won’t wear pants.” Suri, who is frequently photographed out and about with mom in Manhattan, is always seen in any number of adorable dresses either barefoot, in her silver Mary Janes, the occasional black tap shoes or barefoot.
Tom went on to say, “Kate finally got her in jeans the other day. We put the pants on and walk away and the pants are off and the dress is on.”

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, aka reality TV’s most annoying couple, tied the knot in a secret ceremony that took place at the Palmilla Resort in Cabo San Lucas.
Us Weekly scored the wedding pics and will feature then in this weeks issue. Heidi told the magazine, “The minute we said our vows, I couldn’t stop crying.” There were no family members present for the 15 minute ceremony and while I think that’s probably because her family hates him, she says, “It crossed my mind that I should wait for my mom, but if Spencer was ready I wanted to lock him down!” How romantic.
Ohh man, what kind of drama will come of this I wonder. I really don’t like either of them or how much they whine or complain but congratulations to the newlyweds.

Season 6 American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, can now add clothing designer to her list of accomplishments.
Jordin just recently joined Ashlee Simpson-Wentz in designing for clothing store, Wet Seal. While Ashlee did a T-Shirt line with the teen retailer, Jordin will be designing an assortment of holiday dresses in her line called, “Sparks.” The dresses will be delivered to stores just in time for Thanksgiving and will later include casual apparel and accessories.
“I am so excited that Wet Seal and I have been able to create a line of clothing that will appeal to more girls than ever before! The holiday season is my favorite time of year, and I can’t wait to see girls look cute, feel good and celebrate in style!,” Jordin said of her collection in a statement..
