Russell Brand did a recent interview with Defamer, and he revealed an interesting little tidbit about Amy Winehouse!
When given the topic of Amy Winehouse, he said, “Amy has been on several of my television shows in the United Kingdom. She’s a very talented and beautiful girl and in my house, to this day, I have a Mexican doll that for a while lived in her hair.”
He went on to say, “You know those Mexican worry dolls? Or maybe they’re Colombian. You sort of tell it your worries. She took it out of her hair once, gave it to me, and I treasure that little worry doll.”

A spokesman for Amy Winehouse has confirmed that the Grammy-winning singer has been taken to the emergency room at a London hospital Monday night.
Winehouse was taken from her North London home by ambulance to University College Hospital. Although it is thought to be related to her trouble with emphysema, nothing has been confirmed.
It was, however, business as usual this weekend as Winehouse was reportedly seen just yesterday in Camden, North London in a fit of rage throwing her fists against a wall and causing her hands to bleed and also tearing one of her nails off.
They should try to make her go to rehab!

Amy Winehouse got to leave the hospital where she was reportedly being treated for potential emphysema so that she could perform at Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday party. She allegedly got into all sorts of hijinks at the party, and then checked herself back into the hospital.
However, Amy was photographed very recently, and uh, she’s not in the hospital. Unless that’s some fancy British hospital and that woman’s performing a mammogram in the most unorthodox way, that is. Someone shove a catheter in her and get her on 10 ccs of fluid stat! And no, I have no idea what I’m talking about medically. I just hope she gets help soon or we’re going to be saying “RIP Amy” real soon. And she has too much talent for that to happen.
Amy Winehouse has been in the hospital, and there are no signs of her leaving anytime soon. At first it was thought that she might have tuberculosis, but now her father has stated that she is really, really sick. According to dad Mitch Winehouse, Amy has emphysema. And if things don’t start changing as far as Amy and drugs go, her future is looking bleak and very short-lived.
Mitch says,
“The doctors have said that if she had continued the way she was going she could have ended up an invalid - she wouldn’t have been able to breathe. With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes her lungs are all gunked up. There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She’s got 70 per cent lung capacity.”
He also says that if she leaves the hospital, she will inevitably return to her crack-smoking ways and will more than likely be dead within a couple of months. He wants her to stay away from drug dealers and bad influences like Pete Doherty. “I’m saying to those drug dealers, and they know who they are, if they are supplying crack to Amy, then they’ve got to take responsibility,” says Mitch. “I don’t want her hanging out with her mates like Pete Doherty either.” Mitch has also made hubby Blake Fielder-Civil promise to stop doing drugs for Amy’s sake as well. Hopefully Amy will get the hint now that crack is indeed whack and will get the help she so desperately needs and will get better!
Amy Winehouse apologized for her racist humor towards paparazzi on the day that her latest controversial video was released to the public.
Apparently, Amy sang a racist little ditty for them. Someone has also sold this video, along with photos of Winehouse and hubby Blake Fielder-Civil from Blake’s camera.
