Johnny Depp was the big winner of last night’s MTV Movie Awards, taking home two tubs of golden popcorn for his performances in Pirates of the Caribbean and Sweeney Todd. Honestly though, I must be getting too old for this because I found the whole thing to be SO boring!
Instead of recapping all the shameless movie promotions, here is a list of what I thought were highlights (there weren’t many!)
Adam/Chu Dance Crew homage done by Mike Myers and Chris Brown
Briana Evigan and Robert Hoffman won Best Kiss for Step Up 2 The Streets…another victory for director Jon M. Chu!
Jabbawockeez made a guest performance with Pussycat Dolls (can you tell I’m a dance fan by this point?)
Robert Downey Jr. was there and he’s the hottest.

Everyone is gearing up for Britney Spears‘ guest appearance on the CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother.
Her first scripted words as Abby, a dermatologists secretary, are, “Can we have sex and then go shopping?” Hmm, typecast much?
Guess she got along just fine with everyone on set. Neil Patrick Harris called Britney “really funny.”
The episode airs March 24th at 8:30 p.m.

I’m not exactly sure why Gary Busey was at the Oscars. He hasn’t been nominated for anything in a 100 years. He did provide one of the more entertaining moments on the red carpet however when he suddenly grabbed a very stunned Jennifer Garner and kissed her during an interview with Ryan Seacrest.
