Vin Diesel and his girlfriend, model Paloma Jimenez, are the new proud parents of a baby girl, according to People. However, apparently no one knew about this, because the baby wasn’t exactly born yesterday. She was born in April!

Diesel, 40, and Jimenez welcomed their first child on April 2.

Diesel is currently shooting and producing Fast and Furious, due out June 2009, and will next be seen starring in Babylon AD on August 29.

I wonder why it was so hush-hush that it is just now becoming news, or was it that no one cared enough about Vin Diesel to ask?

79-year-old rock and roll legend Bo Diddley died at his home in Archer, FL, Monday of heart failure.

More than 35 family members were at the musician’s home when he died around 1:45 a.m. Diddley’s grandson Garry Mitchell said, “There was a gospel song that was sang and he said ‘wow’ with a thumbs up,” when asked to describe the scene at Diddley’s deathbed.

“The song was ‘Walk Around Heaven’ and in his last words he stated that he was going to heaven.”

Born Ellas Otha Bates in McComb, Mississippi, he later took the name McDaniel for the relative who raised him. His family moved to Chicago when he was seven and it was there that he was given the name Bo Diddley by other children. The name comes from “diddley bo,” a string instrument brought to America by African slaves.

Diddley’s career spanned more than five decades, composing rock classics, including “Who Do You Love,” “Bo Diddley,” “Bo Diddley’s a Gunslinger,” “Before You Accuse Me,” “Mona,” “I’m a Man” and “Pretty Thing.”

CSI: Miami’s season finale, “Going Ballistic,” has many viewers wondering if Horatio Caine is dead. It would appear so, but this is Hollywood my friends, and things aren’t always as they seem.

In a behind-the-scenes interview actor David Caruso, who plays Horatio Caine on the show, explains what happens in the finale.

“Horatio designed a staging of an event that will free him up to go after this man with a different license,” Caruso explains.

So it seems Ryan Wolfe is in on the “setup” which would explain the text message he received.

Actress Loni Anderson got married on Saturday to folk singer Bob Flick. Among attendance was Loni’s son from a previous marriage to Burt Reynolds, Quinton Reynolds.

The ceremony was attended by friends and family, including son Quinton Reynolds, who walked the “WKRP in Cincinnati” and “Nurses” star down the aisle. Reynolds is Anderson’s son with Burt Reynolds, whom she divorced in 1993.

Flick met Anderson at a movie premiere in her native Minneapolis a few years after his group [folk group “The Brothers Four”] hit No. 2 on the pop charts with “Greenfields” in 1960. A local newspaper had sent her out to pose with the group as the “lucky young fan,” an image that was used Saturday night as the couple’s wedding poster.

This is Anderson’s fourth (and hopefully last) marriage.

Actress Nikki Cox has not aged too well. I can’t decide if she just hasn’t aged well of she’s fallen victim to plastic surgery addiction. The Las Vegas star is beautiful, but check out her before and after photos!

The above photo is from back in the day. When I was a kid and she was a star on Unhappily Ever After, I thought she was the most beautiful girl ever. I even wrote a story in the sixth grade and made her the super sexy man-stealing villain. She was so gorgeous!

Not so much anymore.

Former Calvin Klein model, Heather Stohler, and her boyfriend, Daniel Risley, died in a fire this weekend in their Indiana home.

The 29-year-old, whose real name is Heather Arrick, was pulled from the burning apartment building on Sunday and taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead from smoke inhalation. 26-year-old Risley died on Tuesday.

Stohler, who was represented by Elite Model Management, Ford Models, and later by Donald Trump Management, modeled for 10 years and did work for Calvin Klein alongside supermodel Kate Moss.

MMA (mixed martial arts) star, Gina Carano, aka ‘Crush‘ returned for Season 2 of the all new American Gladiators Monday night.

25-year-old Carano is the daughter of Glenn Carano, who played backup quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys from 1977-1983. She was invited to participate in the first ever female sanctioned MMA bout in Nevada after racking up an impressive 12-1-1 Muay Thai (a type of boxing combining kicks and punches) record.

Carano, who was profiled Tuesday night on the ESPN show “E:60” has become the most recognizable face in the MMA, and her stint on the new American Gladiators has put her in the mainstream spotlight.

Rumors began circulating earlier today that former Death Row artist, Nathaniel Dawayne Hale, aka Nate Dogg, had died.

The rumor started after someone hacked into Nate Dogg’s MySpace page and wrote a post saying the rapper had died of complications from a stroke he suffered late last year.

We’re glad to report this rumor is false. Misinformation continued spreading after Mediatakeout.com reported the story. This site later issued a retraction and apology.

“American Gladiators” started off NBC’s “All American Summer” at 8 pm EST with a two hour premier.

Laila Ali and Hulk Hogan returned as co-hosts for the show’s second season.

American Gladiators Jennifer Widerstrom (Phoenix), Gina Carano (Crush), and Beth Horn (Venom) participated in classic events such as Assault, Eliminator, Gauntlet, Hang Tough, Joust, Pyramid and The Wall. Two new events included Earthquake and Hit & Run.

22-year-old Jayde Nicole has been named Playboy’s 2008 Playmate of the Year. She was Playmate of the Month in January 2007.

Jayde is a Canadian model from Scarsbrough, Ontario, and has been modeling since the age of six. She is 5′7″ tall, weighs 117 lbs and claims that her breasts are “100% natural.”

Jayde has the word ‘respect’ tattooed on her lower (and we mean lower) abdomen, which she had added after leaving a particularly bad relationship to “remind myself that I deserved more and not to let ANYONE push you around and treat you poorly!”
