Jamie Lynn Spears and fiancé Casey Aldridge welcomed a baby girl this morning. Her name is Maddie Briann. She was born around 9:30 a.m. in a Mississippi hospital near their hometown in Louisiana.
A source reveals, “Just the family was there. Everyone is healthy and happy.”

Jessica Alba has reportedly given birth to a baby girl this weekend at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. This is the first baby for Jessica and husband Cash Warren.
Alba’s father was overheard saying “she’s beautiful.” Warren — in a T-shirt, jeans and baseball cap — was spotted carrying food into the maternity ward Sunday.
Her rep had no comment.
No photos or baby names have been released yet, but hopefully it’s a “little brown baby” just like Jessica wanted!
Vin Diesel and his girlfriend, model Paloma Jimenez, are the new proud parents of a baby girl, according to People. However, apparently no one knew about this, because the baby wasn’t exactly born yesterday. She was born in April!
Diesel, 40, and Jimenez welcomed their first child on April 2.
Diesel is currently shooting and producing Fast and Furious, due out June 2009, and will next be seen starring in Babylon AD on August 29.
I wonder why it was so hush-hush that it is just now becoming news, or was it that no one cared enough about Vin Diesel to ask?

Okay, it’s not really for just her, but that’s definitely doesn’t hurt! Did I mention it has a mote? Little Shiloh is sure to feel like a princess. Happy birthday, sweetie!

Although rumors circulated earlier today that Halle Berry’s new baby would be named Clara Stella, that information proves to be false.
First time parents, Halle Berry and model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, actually named their baby girl, Nahla Ariela Aubry.
Berry stated, “We didn’t have a name picked out until just before we left the hospital. For us it was hard to name the most important person in our life until we met her.”
Britney Spears is slowly but surely starting to see her boys, Jayden James and Sean Preston, but they are confused when it comes to their mom.
Sean Preston has been having nightmares recently and sleeps in the same room as father, Kevin Federline. When Britney first picked them up, the tot cried for his dad until he could settle him down.
An insider says, “Jamie [Britney’s dad] told Kevin that Britney handled the visit well. She actually did cry, but that was only because Sean cried when she took them from Kevin.”
Hopefully they won’t be confused for too long. Britney could get up to three visits per week which could also help the pop star since the boys are playing a “pivotal role in her progress.”
Angelina Jolie and oldest son Maddox left the Austin, Texas airport early Tuesday morning to make their way to New York City.
After arriving in New York, Jolie spent the day in the Council on Foreign Affairs before hopping on a flight back to the Lonestar state.
The Jolie-Pitt clan is staying in Texas while Brad Pitt films The Tree of Life.
Jennifer Lopez, first time mother, and husband Marc Anthony, who has 3 other children, gave birth to twins on February 22nd.
They named the newborns Emme and Max. Emme weighed 5lbs. 7 oz. and was born at 12:12 a.m., and then Max weighing 6 lbs. followed shortly after at 12:23 a.m.
Wait…what?!? Emme and Max? Ummm, Dragon Tales much?
People magazine won the bid for the first official photos of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s baby girl, Harlow Winter Kate Madden.
In the magazine, Nicole talks about life since giving birth, saying “It’s almost like I don’t even remember what life was like before her. She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose.”
The issue hits stands on Friday.
