Josh Hartnett is suing the Daily Mirror for a story claiming he was caught having sex in a public library by surveillance cameras.
An adult video company offered the actor $500,000 for the rights to the tape saying, “Josh shouldn’t be embarrassed. As we’ve seen with Paris Hilton, these tapes can make a career not hurt it.”
The difference between Josh and the other sex tapes stars is, they needed that to boost their non-existent careers. He is already famous for having at least a little talent.
Hartnett is seeking damages and an apology for the story he call “defamatory and unsubstantiated” ” and a “complete fabrication.”
Verne Troyer, aka “Mini Me”, is suing his ex-girlfriend and sex tape partner Ranae Shrider. Troyer is filing suit agains Shrider for “intentional infliction of emotional distress and battery.”
Verne’s lawyer claims his former housemate “once picked the lock to his bedroom door, pushing away a 100 pound scooter that was used to block the door, and then throwing him to the floor.” His lawyer, in a statement to TMZ, adds that “when you pick up a 2′8″ human being and throw him to the floor, it hurts.”
Troyer is suing Shrider for $20 million. Verne also recently tried to sue TMZ for $20 million…he must really be hurting for money! He should at least aim for someone who actually has that kind of money. Angelina Jolie would probably pay him that much to adopt him.

TMZ has released a clip from the tape, in which Mini Me is kissing his ex-girlfriend.
SugarDVD has reportedly offered $100,000 for the sex tape, but no deal has been made.
