Spencer Pratt vs. Bruce Jenner: Publicity Feud

Jenner Pratt

Bruce Jenner, dad of Brody Jenner and step-dad of the Kardashian sisters, has expressed his extreme dislike of The Hills villain Spencer Pratt. Bruce thinks that Spencer is a bad influence on his son. Always the one-upper, though, Spencer wanted to let the press know that the feeling is mutual!

Yesterday, Jenner told Us that Spencer was a “bad influence” on his son Brody, and that he had been “brought down” by his buddies, including Frankie Delgado. Not to be outdone, Spencer slapped back at Brody’s dad, screeching, “That’s a bold statement for someone who only decided to try and be Brody’s father after Brody got famous. He should focus more on trying to be a father.”

Whoa, it sounds like it’s on like Donkey Kong! Do you think there’s a real beef there, or this is just another publicity stunt done by two people who are known for being in the spotlight for no reason?

The Hills former BFF’s Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad are of course still not speaking but now they are taking the feud to the runway.

Heidi’s clothes will premiere this April in nationwide Anchor Blue stores while former roommate Conrad’s Collection was available in stores last month.

Montag’s line is all priced below $60 and includes things from bags and jewelry to tops, jeans and dresses. Lauren’s designs are a little more expensive and high-fashion.

While Lauren hasn’t commented on Heidi’s upcoming line, Montag had this to say about her former friends collection… (more…)

The Truth Behind the Britney Spears and Heidi Montag “Duet” Dramatic

Just when you thought Britney Spears could possibly be getting better, she appears to make another one of those poor decisions she’s become so famous for. Most recent idea… a duet on a song titled “Dramatic” with The Hills star Heidi Montag.

From another point of view, why did Heidi decide she wanted to do a song with someone who has become so known for making bad choices.

Well, according to reps from both sides, neither Britney nor Heidi was even aware of the “duet.”

One insider tells it like this:

“Heidi and Spencer got their hands on an old demo recording of Britney’s that never made it onto any of her albums.”

“They’ve been working with a lot of producers on Heidi’s new album and one of them gave them the track,” the source added. “They decided to turn it into a duet instead of having Heidi re-record the song with just her vocals because they knew they’d get more press this way.”

While Montag’s publicist claims:

“Heidi has no knowledge of this recording. She did do a demo of this song for possible use on her record, but that recording had a male vocal on it, not Britney Spears.”

Either way, it will probably get five minutes of attention, but I doubt the song will ever get praised for it’s annoying, repetitive lyrics.

Even though it’s better than Heidi’s first try, it’s definitely a lot worse than Britney’s earlier songs.

Heidi Montag’s Stepbrother Killed After Return from Iraq

Heidi Montag’s 24-year-old stepbrother, Eric O’Hara, a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, who survived numerous combat missions, was killed in a freak accident just one month after being discharged.

O’Hara was helping remove snow from the roof of the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel, when he fell to his death after detaching the safety clip so he could move along the rope he was attached to. A piece of ice broke loose and O’Hara slid down the roof and over the edge still holding the rope, but was knocked off by falling snow.

“I just loved him more than anything,” Montag told Usmagazine.com. “He couldn’t wait to meet Spencer.” (more…)
