John Mayer’s past relationships have not been long lasting romances for the ladies man. One of his ex-girlfriends was obviously not ready to give the 30-year old singer, songwriter up.

He supposedly had this to write to one of his ex lovers:

“Perhaps you didn’t understand the last time I told you to stop contacting me, so I’ll do my best to spell it out for you. I do not wish to have you in my life anymore.

“I don’t know how much more clear I can be about it. It would serve you best to move on with your life and find someone who can put up with you, because I’m done trying.

“I hope this is enough closure for you.

“Goodbye.

“P.S. If you need me, you know how to find me.”

Well if you think this was a message to an ex, you’re wrong. He followed up explaining it was all about a writing technique called “deceptive resolution” where you think a story is going one way but ends up going a completely different direction.

He also wonders if he will even be able to complete an entire record if all his blogs are going to spark such curiosity.
