In a bid to attract more customers and encourage them to upgrade to their newer and more expensive plans, major US carriers are now offering substantial discounts on the highly anticipated iPhone 15. T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T have each rolled out deals that provide up to $1,000 off the latest iPhone model, albeit with certain requirements.

Traditionally, carrier promotions have aimed to lock customers into long-term contracts. However, this time around, carriers are leveraging the popularity of the iPhone 15 to entice customers to switch to their pricier plans. These limited-time offers come with certain stipulations that customers must meet to qualify for the discounts.

AT&T’s deal, for instance, necessitates customers to be on one of their recent or older unlimited plans, excluding the cheapest Value Plus option. Additionally, customers are required to trade in a recent phone in good condition. The $1,000 discount is then applied as monthly bill credits over a 36-month installment plan.

Similarly, Verizon’s offer mandates customers to either add a new line or switch from a competitor. They must also enroll in Verizon’s most expensive unlimited plan, known as Unlimited Ultimate. Furthermore, customers must trade in any phone and commit to a 36-month installment plan. Remarkably, Verizon accepts trade-ins of any iPhone in any condition.

Meanwhile, T-Mobile’s offer caters to customers on either the Go5G Plus or the higher-priced Go5G Next plan. Eligible devices for trade-in include Pro model iPhones from the iPhone 11 Pro and “Ultra” models of Samsung Galaxy phones. T-Mobile’s financing plans run for 24 months and are accessible to both new and existing customers.

Apart from these alluring deals, each carrier also provides lesser discounts for customers with older devices or those who prefer not to switch to the priciest plans. AT&T’s offer, for instance, lowers the discount to $830 for customers trading in older devices such as iPhone 11 or 12 series phones. Similarly, Verizon’s offer drops to up to $830 off for customers on higher-end plans. T-Mobile provides up to $650 off any iPhone 15 model with an eligible trade-in for customers on its Magenta Max plan.

Regardless of the offer, customers must ensure the traded-in phones are in good condition and fully paid off. The financing plans range from 24 to 36 months, depending on the carrier. Now, iPhone enthusiasts can seize the opportunity to upgrade their devices while enjoying substantial savings.
